FAQs
What is Mindful Yoga?
Mindful Flow is a dynamic, Hatha-inspired practice that moves beyond simple stretching to create a moving meditation. Unlike a fast-paced fitness class, Mindful Flow prioritizes the connection between breath (Pranayama) and movement (Asana).
In our Woodland Hills studio, we move with intention, transitioning through sequences that build internal heat while maintaining a sharp focus on anatomical alignment. It is a practice of "listening" to the body, learning when to push for strength and when to soften into stillness.
Is the Mindful Yoga Class available online?
Yes! The Mindful Yoga Class is held live online via Zoom and follows the same class schedule as the in-studio classes. You can sign up for the Online Mindful Yoga class here.
Is Mindful Yoga practice okay for beginners?
While we welcome everyone, Mindful Yoga is best suited for those with some prior yoga experience. If you are a total beginner, we recommend starting with our Mixed-Level Yoga Class or our Gentle Yoga Class.
You can also inquire about our personalized Beginner Yoga training options. If you're not sure where to begin, we are happy to help guide you in the right direction - Contact us!
